John Nwosu, EdS, LPC, NCC | jnwosu1@bravetomorrow.net
Hello everyone! I am a human developer who believes in helping improve the fit between people in their environment. I work with clients on making meaning and sense as I support their search for solutions to complex problems. We are not meant to do this alone and you don’t have to!
I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University but went on to pursue a career in school and mental health counseling and therapy. I was born into an Nigerian and African-American family filled with high levels of love, support, and expectations. I’ve had to learn coping skills to deal with pressure, anxiety, and depression, and the need for these things is what attracted me to the mental health profession. I currently work as a middle school counselor. Life has shown me that the path often does not look like the plan. My approach to counseling and therapy embraces uncertainty in order to develop key skills that prepare the client for a wide range of potential situations. I believe the client is the authority on themselves and is responsible for collaborating with me to find the best way forward. I have experience working with the following areas: identity development (race and gender), equity, problem solving, stress, anxiety and depression, grief, learning and self-management strategies, leadership, financial literacy, career development, life planning, and more.
Shannon Canu, MS, LPC, RPT, NCC | shannon@bravetomorrow.net *Shannon is only accepting virtual clients at this time*
Sometimes life can get hard. It can feel overwhelming. During those times it can be really powerful to have someone you can talk to. Someone who will listen, without judgement, and help you find your best path back to wellness. I work with clients of all ages experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, divorce, and trauma. I believe that you are the expert on who you are, and work to create a relationship that allows you as the client to achieve your own goals in a way that works best for you. I do this through both traditional talk therapy and a more hands on, activities based approach to allow you to gain a different perspective on your current struggle.

Hi, I’m Lynly! I’d love to be invited on your wellness journey. Whether exploring familial and relational issues, adapting boundaries and self-care, or processing trauma, I see therapy as an altruistic process. I feel comfortable working with families, couples, adults, and children of all ages! Being a parent, I am especially passionate about the development and well-being of children. I graduated with my B.A. in 2010 from Valdosta State University and worked in social service settings such as CASA as a children’s advocate. I began my journey as a developmental therapist in 2013 working with children on the Autism Spectrum and their families incorporating behavioral therapy. Through the development of my career and professional identity, I became passionate about social justice and the importance of advocacy within the mental health field. As a therapist, my goal is to help reverse individual and community biases within my work and promote universal allyship.
