I am Mindy Czech, a counselor in training at Brave Tomorrow Counseling and Consulting. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Justice Studies, as well as a Master of Education in Counseling with an emphasis in Community Counseling. After completing my Master’s degree I continued working at Fresh Start Counseling for two years (2007-2009). At that time, I had to put my passion for counseling on hold due to life’s unexpected twists and turns. I returned to pursue my Ed.S. in Counselor Education in January 2015 which will aid in my goal of licensure.
My passion is meeting people where they are and helping them navigate through the muck and mire that life often brings. I know what it takes for a person to walk through the doors of a counselor, and for that reason alone I am honored to be a part of my client’s life in such a significant way. I specialize in trauma, abuse (emotional and physical), grief and loss, PTSD and codependency to name a few. I provide individual, couple and family counseling, as well as in-home counseling when necessary.
