Alex Cole, MEd, LPC, NCC | alex@bravetomorrow.net

Sometimes life gives us more than we can handle. In these times it can help to turn to a Mental Health Professional. As a counselor, my goal is to assist clients in identifying and working towards creating their ideal life. I firmly believe that every client has the ability to create a life that they love, filled with relationships that help them to grow and flourish. My passion is working with children, teens, and adults. Each of these populations has their own set of challenges, obstacles, and goals and I believe in using appropriate experiential techniques in addition to traditional talk therapy to help them reach their potential.
Experiential techniques use expressive tools and activities, such as arts and crafts, guided imagery, sand tray, Play Therapy, role-playing, equine-assisted therapy, etc. to help clients identify obstacles and take greater responsibility for their actions. Benefits of experiential therapy can include change, emotional growth, and personal empowerment.
For those interested in my qualifications, I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. I then graduated from Georgia Southern University again in 2017 with a Masters of Education in Counselor Education. Currently, I am an Associate Professional Counselor working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Certified EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) Professional. I am also working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

Sometimes life can get hard. It can feel overwhelming. During those times it can be really powerful to have someone you can talk to. Someone who will listen, without judgement, and help you find your best path back to wellness. I work with clients of all ages experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, divorce, and trauma. I believe that you are the expert on who you are, and work to create a relationship that allows you as the client to achieve your own goals in a way that works best for you. I do this through both traditional talk therapy and a more hands on, activities based approach to allow you to gain a different perspective on your current struggle.
Skyler Clark, MA, LPC | skyler@bravetomorrow.net

I graduated in 2018 with a Masters in Arts in clinical/mental heath counseling from Regent University. I received my bachelors in psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2013. I believe so many of the things we struggle with are fueled by the thoughts we believe about ourself and the things around us. Having a space to speak about those things and a counselor-client relationship that feels safe enough to explore your struggles, experiences, and beliefs is essential to helping people find healthy ways to move through to healthier ways of thinking and being. I am passionate about helping people improve their self worth and confidence. I also offer Christian-based counseling to clients who wish to integrate their faith in their sessions.
Jordan Raulerson Beaver, MEd, LPC, NCC | jordan@bravetomorrow.net

My name is Jordan Beaver, and I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Masters of Education in Counselor Education in July 2020. I believe that everyone is constantly working towards becoming their best self. To do that, sometimes we need a little help! As your counselor, I aim to help you find the best path to becoming who you want to be and overcoming obstacles in your way.
I use traditional talk therapy as well as experiential activities in my work as a counselor. Sometimes we can't find the words to describe what's going on, so we can use other tools to tackle our problems. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults with a range of experiences such as past and present trauma, life changes and transitions, and emotional regulation.
If you think we might be a good fit, I would love to hear from you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!

Carly Mock, MS, LPC, NCC | carly@bravetomorrow.net

Hi, my name is Carly Mock. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the state of Georgia as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I am working with Brave Tomorrow Counseling and Consulting to provide therapeutic services in our community and in our office. I appreciate those who show the courage to allow me into their space to walk alongside them on their journey. I value this space that we grant ourselves access to possess together while we explore new ways of thinking, expressing, and experiencing.
I utilize person-centered, trauma-informed care, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive + Experiential. I believe it takes knowledge and cognitive skills to prepare one for an experience that will help to bring on change. Without both, the knowledge and experience, the individual might not be prepared to make change.
I finish off my introduction with a quote taken from Virginia Satir in Richard Simon's "Reaching Out to Life: An Interview with Virginia Satir:"
“When I first begin to work with someone, I am not interested in changing them. I am interested in finding their rhythms, being able to join with them, and helping them go inside to those scary places.”
…It is there where one can decide on what to do with those dragons. Thank you for being brave!

My name is Katie Evans. I am a second-year graduate student at Georgia Southern University pursuing a master’s degree in the Counselor Education program with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently an intern-counselor at Brave Tomorrow as well as a Graduate Assistant at Georgia Southern University.
I am passionate about working with individuals and meeting them where they are. I believe counseling to be a collaborative process between counselor and client. Counseling is a time for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, in a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere. Stress, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and life situations can impact our internal and external worlds in detrimental ways. Seeking an understanding of patterns that do not work, and improving the effectiveness of change, in a trusting relationship, allows clients to gain self-esteem and personal growth.
