Hello everyone! I am a human developer who believes in helping improve the fit between people in their environment. I work with clients on making meaning and sense as I support their search for solutions to complex problems. We are not meant to do this alone and you don’t have to!

I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University but went on to pursue a career in school and mental health counseling and therapy. I was born into an Nigerian and African-American family filled with high levels of love, support, and expectations. I’ve had to learn coping skills to deal with pressure, anxiety, and depression, and the need for these things is what attracted me to the mental health profession. I currently work as a middle school counselor.

Life has shown me that the path often does not look like the plan. My approach to counseling and therapy embraces uncertainty in order to develop key skills that prepare the client for a wide range of potential situations. I believe the client is the authority on themselves and is responsible for collaborating with me to find the best way forward. I have experience working with the following areas: identity development (race and gender), equity, problem solving, stress, anxiety and depression, grief, learning and self-management strategies, leadership, financial literacy, career development, life planning, and more.

I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mercer University and Master of Education in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University. I am currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist.

I am very interested in the mind-body connection, and commonly see psychological stress manifest physically in the body. I utilize person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapy modalities in my mental health practice, alongside vinyasa, gentle, restorative, and yin yoga modalities to help my clients process stressors, discover their inner truth, and work towards becoming the best version of themselves.

Hello, my name is Kendall Cantey. I am an Associate Professional Counselor. I received my Masters of Education in Counselor Education, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University. I have experience working with individuals of all ages in schools, within the community, their homes, who were on probation and parole, and struggling with substance use and addiction.

I absolutely adore getting to know and helping others using my humanistic-existential approach with a focus on emotions. What that looks like is whatever direction you want to go or whatever you want to talk about is how the session will generally go. From time to time, I will provide a guiding voice where I try to lend you a hand with a new way to look at things as well as providing information. Additionally, I also make sure to tailor your sessions specifically to you. My goal as your counselor is to offer a comforting space where you can be and find yourself.
